Day 9 - Campaigning for Launch2Life

What another successful day! Today, Libby and I did some campaign work for Remy’s non-profit organization called Launch2Life. Its mission focuses on spreading awareness to mental health for adults and teenagers, with the ability to certify people in the workplace. We put on Remy’s shirts she’s created with the logo “WHY” across the front, and snapped some photos with my camera. Cat helped us as well, taking photos of the both of us. Libby wore the white “WHY” t-shirt with a white terry cloth skirt and beige bucket hat, whereas I wore the same t-shirt with a pair of my own white linen shorts, as well as a pink Remy baseball hat and some colorful jewelry. We took photos outside of the store to capture the Beacon Hill vibe. I’m excited to upload the photos onto my computer and send them to Remy so that she can use them for her upcoming campaigns for her amazing organization! Tomorrow, we will be doing similar work with Launch2Life, Cat is going to be interviewing Libby and I about our own experience with mental health as teenagers and what strategies we use to cope with all the stresses that come along with being a high school student, especially as we prepare to enter a new chapter of our lives in college! We are both very passionate about this campaign, and it was definitely an added bonus to our experience working in retail.
